Photography Props Birthday Numbers

starting photography ???
I decided that i want to become a photographer on weekends cuz i am going to be a medical assitant once i graduate and i always liked taking pictures so i plan on doing pictures for people on weekends. I want to do wedding pictures, family photos and birthday pictures and whatever else someone may want done. I am slowly buying props and things needed to do pictures cuz like for birthday photos i am going to get those huge numbers so if a kid is turning 2 for example i can take pictures with them by a number 2 and i am also buying lots more stuff like flowers and stuff for the background and i am just practicing right now for free for who ever would let me take their pictures and I want to start a portfolio of the pictures so that way when i am actually doing it for money the people can get an idea of what i do….so what should i put in this book. I was going to blo all pictures up to 8×10 but what else should i have in this portflio
Most of my work now is digital and pictures can be done to A4 or A 3+ on my printer, without farming work out for bigger prints.Images are recorded on hard drives and CD with regular back ups on DVD.Viewing samples of work is done from a lap top, which is actually easier to carry round than a big portfolio of mounted prints.Pictures on small file size can be transmitted by e mail or CDs.Prints are only done when needed. The more things you can shoot the better early on and folders can be selected according to the needs of the job.A folder of 100 mounted prints can cost much more than a lap top.Any aspect of medical photography you can take will be worthwhile, both out of interest and as support for your studies. It can be a most rewarding side of the business.
