Fake wood floor for photography prop?

A professional photographer in my area had mentioned during a class that she used a fake wood floor for her baby portraits and the wall was just paper. (Where the baby is sitting on the wood floor like this -> http://www.flickr.com/photos/crickiephotos/3708252101/in/set-72157594462349168/ ) My question is- Is there a site/place that sells this? or is there a way to make it?

A few square feet of laminate would be great. You could actually disassemble it and store it very much out of the way. I would call some of the flooring installers in your area to see if they have any kind of scrap they may give you. Another options would be a few square feet of prefinished flooring. It’s heavier as it is real wood, but already has a stain and finish on it. Incidentally, I do hardwood flooring for a living…so I know we get a lot of scrap stuff that just goes in the garbage….worth a shot. I like the paneling idea as well!
